Batman 1989 Fan Art

 

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been Batman’s biggest fan, especially the first two parts directed by Tim Burton. The creation of the character by Michael Keaton was so expressive and fascinating that I remember it for a long time. One of Batman’s coolest gadgets was of course Batmobile, which I consider to be the prettiest of all movies. That’s why I decided to create this graphic. Batmobile in its natural environment, a garage made of stone surrounded by hordes of bats.

To achieve the intended effect, I prepared a small photo studio in my kitchen. A small 1/18 scaled Batmobile model stood in front of the lens. The next step was to create a cave in 3D, adjust the perspective to the photo and add bats in photoshop. Rest of the postproduction was the icing on the cake. It was great joy to work on this.
